How can you benefit from monthly invoicing on Google Ads?

If you want to benefit from a credit limit that allows you to pay your advertising costs, it is wise to choose monthly billing as your payment method. This way, you will receive a monthly invoice. Note that there are some conditions that must be met before you can apply for monthly billing.


  • It is important to review all available payment options to determine which one suits your account:
    – Automatic payment
    – Manual payment
    – Monthly invoicing
    – Payment method (debit/credit card)
    – Currency
    – VAT
  • Accounts using monthly billing must be linked to an administrator account. The payment profile must also be linked to the same administrator account.
  • The company using Google Ads services must be registered for at least one year.
  • The Google Ads account must be active and in good standing for at least one year.
  • A Goolgle Ads account must spend a minimum of $5000 per month for at least three months of the past 12 months.

How to apply for monthly invoicing for Google Ads?

1 – From the support page

To request montly billing from Google, you need to contact them.

This leads to a contact page where you need to tick the Apply for monthly invoicing box.

Changing payment method

You will then be directed to a form that you must fill out completely.


If your request is approved, you will receive an email containing the following details:

  • Payment deadline for each invoice issued
  • Maximum balance allowed for all accounts under your monthly invoicing.

2 – From the Google Ads account

From your Google Ads account, go to ‘Tools and settings’ and then select ‘Settings’ under the ‘Billing’ category.

  • Account number
  • Payment method
  • Change request form
